        Sweet Tahini Buns Recipe

        Ingredients

        • 500g (4 cups) all-purpose flour
        • 100g (1/2 cup) granulated sugar
        • 7g (1 packet or 2 1/4 tsp) instant yeast
        • 5g (1 tsp) salt
        • 240ml (1 cup) milk, warm
        • 60g (1/4 cup) unsalted butter, melted
        • 2 large eggs, at room temperature
        • 150g (1/2 cup) tahini
        • 100g (1/2 cup) brown sugar, packed
        • 5g (1 tsp) ground cinnamon
        • 60ml (1/4 cup) honey
        • 30g (2 tbsp) sesame seeds

        Instructions

        Step 1: Prepare the Dough

        In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, granulated sugar, salt, and instant yeast. Mix well. Gradually add warm milk, melted butter, and eggs. Mix until a soft dough forms.

        If using a stand mixer, fit it with a dough hook and knead on medium speed for about 8-10 minutes until the dough is smooth and elastic. You can also knead by hand for about 15 minutes on a lightly floured surface.

        Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth or plastic wrap, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1.5 hours or until doubled in size.
