        • 4 slices back bacon
        • 4 pork sausages
        • 4 black pudding slices
        • 4 white pudding slices
        • 200g (7 oz) button mushrooms, halved
        • 2 medium tomatoes, halved
        • 4 free-range eggs
        • 4 slices soda bread
        • Salt and pepper, to taste
        • 25g (2 tbsp) butter

        Instructions

        Step 1: Prepare the Ingredients

        Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Place the sausages on a baking sheet and cook in the oven for 20-25 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through.

        Step 2: Fry the Meats

        In a large frying pan over medium heat, melt 15g (1 tbsp) of butter. Add the bacon slices and fry until crispy. Remove with a slotted spoon and set aside. In the same pan, add the black and white pudding slices and cook until browned on both sides. Remove and keep warm with the bacon.

        Step 3: Saute the Vegetables

        In the same pan, add the remaining butter. Add the halved mushrooms and fry until golden brown. Season with salt and pepper. Add the halved tomatoes, cut side down, and cook until the tomato is slightly caramelized. Remove both mushrooms and tomatoes and set them with the meats.

        Step 4: Fry the Eggs

        Using the same pan, you may need a bit more butter depending on the remaining grease, fry the eggs sunny side up. Season them with salt and pepper to taste.

        Step 5: Toast the Soda Bread

        While working on other components, toast the soda bread slices in a toaster or under the oven grill until golden brown.

        Step 6: Assemble and Serve

        On a large serving platter, neatly arrange all the cooked ingredients. Serve the Irish Fry-Up immediately while hot, with buttered soda bread on the side.
